Hyper-V Virtual Server is the thing exactly like your own physical server. It is working on our equipment in virtual environment and you manage it using remote access. You do have 100% administrator/root access and there are no management limitations.

Hyper-V VPS allows you to run any Microsoft operation system (Windows Server all preinstalled) and Linux with virtualization support.
We support the following systems with one-click install:
We provide preinstalled OS according to Microsoft guides.
In Windows Server 2003 we provide all services installed. You should enable needed functions at Services snap-in.
Windows 2008 and 2012+ have no roles installed by default, you should install roles needed yourself, providing fine configuration details in installation process.
We provide CentOS preinstalled, version 6.3 final or newer. We have installed support for Microsoft Hyper-V to allow your OS run at full speed. Linux at NeuPrime Hyper-V VPS is a legacy offer.
We provide Ubuntu preinstalled, version 12.04 or newer. We have installed support for Microsoft Hyper-V R2 to allow your OS run at full speed. Linux at NeuPrime Hyper-V VPS is a legacy offer.
Your data safety is your highest priority. We run redundant RAID10 arrays with predictive fail detection and spare drives to protect your data. We also use top-tier SSD Drives to make crashes rare. It gives acceptable safety guarantee because no single fault can harm your valuable virtual server.
Nevertheless, under some rare conditions, unusual sequence of failures or your own personal fault can ruin your virtual server. To protect from such disaster and for additional data safety, we offer weekly backup service at a bit of additional cost. Please check hosting plan wizard for the corresponding option.
Our Virtual Servers do not support nested virtualization. This is the most important difference - you cannot run your own virtual servers inside our Virtual Server.
Virtual server is very much like real physical server. You can manage everything including your OS kernel and drivers, given that your configuration keeps supporting Hyper-V virtual devices.
Virtual server is a bit slower that dedicated server with the same specs. You share virtual execution environment with another customers, that leads to unpredictable resource allocation and some virtualization overhead. However, your peak resource usage may be very high and even higher compared to physical server.
Well managed Website or application will work on virtual server just right - fast and reliable. But you should always test your configuration first. Low power hosting plans with 512 MB of RAM or less have no direct equivalents in modern equipment, so their performance may be unexpected. Please test to ensure that you have right hosting plan selected!
